NELLA TERRA DELLE CICOGNE E DELLA BELLA E LA BESTIA

In the land of storks and Beauty and the Beast 🕊️🏰✨

Dal nostro nido di Sélestat parte il viaggio alla scoperta dell’Alsazia, terra sospesa tra la cultura francese e quella tedesca, delle case a graticcio e dei borghi delle favole.

Alsazia vuol dire cicogne e da questa città piena di fiori (c’è persino una festa dove si realizzano carri solo ed esclusivamente di fiori) scopriamo l’incanto di

Cigoland Parc d’attractions et de loisirs, dove le cicogne fanno il nido sulle giostre e volano tra le montagne russe. Un meraviglioso parco divertimenti dove si insegna il rispetto della natura giocando, con le giostre a spinta manuale, i trattori, la foresta incantata o l’albero delle tettarelle al termine del percorso sensoriale a piedi nudi, dove (seguendo una tradizione scandinava) i piccolini salutano il loro ciuccio per l’utlima volta affidandolo alle cicogne.

Qui nell’Alto Reno tra cascate di vigneti si nascondono dei borghi incantevoli come Riquewihr, il paese che ha ispirato La Bella e la Bestia. In un attimo siamo tutti Belle, proprio come Disney la immaginava, seduta a leggere su una fontana col profumo di pane che viene dalla boulangerie.

From our nest in Sélestat, our journey begins through Alsace — a land suspended between French and German cultures, of half-timbered houses and fairytale villages.

Alsace means storks. And from this flower-filled town (there’s even a festival where floats are made entirely of flowers), we discover the magic of Cigoland Parc d’attractions et de loisirs, where storks nest on rides and fly above roller coasters.

A wonderful amusement park that teaches respect for nature through play: manual-powered rides, little tractors, an enchanted forest, and even the “pacifier tree” at the end of a barefoot sensory path — where (following a Scandinavian tradition) little ones say goodbye to their pacifier, entrusting it to the storks.

Here in the Haut-Rhin, among cascading vineyards, lie enchanting villages like Riquewihr, said to have inspired Beauty and the Beast. And suddenly, we are all Belle — just as Disney imagined her — sitting by a fountain, reading, with the scent of fresh bread drifting from a nearby boulangerie.
